Seed Balls & Seed Paper Workshop

Welcome the growing season with a hands-on workshop that blends creativity, ecology, and a little bit of joyful mess-making. In this class, you’ll learn two simple, earth-friendly ways to plant the future: seed balls and seed-embedded handmade paper.

We’ll start by mixing clay, compost, and pollinator-friendly seeds to form seed balls - easy-to-plant capsules that help protect seeds as they sprout. Then we’ll shift to papermaking, using recycled fibers and wildflower seeds to create sheets of handmade paper that can be planted directly in the garden.

You’ll leave with seed balls ready to scatter, a set of plantable papers, and the knowledge to make both projects again at home. A perfect early-summer workshop for gardeners, makers, and anyone who loves supporting local pollinators.
