Eco-Printing With Summer Flowers

Celebrate the colors of summer with an eco-printing workshop using fresh flowers and leaves from the dye garden. In this hands-on class, you’ll learn how to arrange botanical materials - such as cosmos, marigold, coreopsis, and other dye plants - and transfer their colors and shapes onto fabric using a simple hammer-printing technique.

We’ll explore which plants give the strongest imprints, how to prep your materials, and how pressure and placement bring out vivid natural color. You’ll leave with a finished eco-printed textile and the skills to keep experimenting with garden-grown color all season long.
